When a baby decides to come to the world, he does not understand holidays, dates, or unavoidable commitments that his mother had that day noted in the calendar. Sometimes, he does not even allow his parents to get to the hospital in time!
Little Anthony was born in the hospital, but his mother did not have time to relax before his arrival, nor to dance to the rhythm of contractions to mitigate the pain, because he decided to be born on the same day that she had to examine herself to finish her semester academic.
Nayzia Thomas is a second year student of Psychology in Missouri (United States), and until the last moment she was attending class as one more student, and trying to examine herself of all the subjects before her son was born.
But little Anthony had his own ideas about when he should come into the worldso his mother could not finish examining herself in the academic center, although she did in the hospital during her labor, showing once again that mothers we are authentic heroines.
So when Nayzia began to notice the first signs of childbirth and before leaving for the hospital she put her psychiatry notes on dissociative identity disorder in the suitcase, and finished her examination on the stretcher, between contraction and contraction while waiting to give to light , moment that immortalized his mother in a photograph that later rose to his twitter account.

“The studies are very important for me and I never wanted the pregnancy to interfere in them, people think that because I was a teenage mother I was not going to be able to do it, but it’s not like that and photography proves it” – Nayzia declared to What to Expect.
The image immediately went viral and was commented by hundreds of people who praised the strength and tenacity of this young mother who, despite the sensitivity of the moment, managed to successfully complete their quarterly exams. From Babies and More, we congratulate Nayzia and hope that she can resume her studies soon with her baby.
