After taking us back to the world of Warhammer with ‘Total War: Warhammer II’, Creative Assembly and SEGA will bet on a more realistic delivery of their strategy franchise with ‘Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia’, the first chapter of the id ‘A Total War Saga’ with which it aims to focus on conflicts that humanity experienced at very specific moments in history.
This chapter in particular takes us to the year 878 AD, when the English king Alfred the Great defeated the forces of the Viking army and changed the future of the British Isles. However, the kings of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales have their own aspirations.
Precisely the new trailer of this new title shows us more closely the story of Alfredo el Grande and some of the battles, in the form of cinematics, that players will come to live while they establish their own history according to the way they decide what will happen events.
SEGA already indicated at the time that the objective of this series is to show very specific areas and maps in key points of history with a strong cultural focus. At the moment its release date is still scheduled for this 2018 on Steam.
