If some doubted the seriousness of this project, the construction of underground tunnels by Elon Musk is indeed underway. The proof: this photo posted by the business leader on social networks.
Annoyed by the constant traffic jams, the founder of SpaceX Elon Musk decided in December 2016 to start building underground tunnels in order to reach the office faster.
On Saturday, October 28, the entrepreneur shared on his social networks a photo of the tunnel under Los Angeles, made by the Boring Company.
A first step to fight traffic jams, but far from the last, since Elon Musk recently obtained permission to build a 10-mile tunnel under Maryland (the one built in Los Angeles is “only” 2 miles).
Godot (the name of the tunnel digging machine) still has some work to do on this gargantuan project, which is likely to spread to the entire United States if the feasibility tests are completed.
