On December 22 Netflix arrives at ‘Bridght’, the new David Ayer movie in which Will Smith and Joel Edgerton form a tandem of advocates of law and order. The only problem? Joel Edgerton is an orc in a world where fairies, witches and other fantasy creatures are just as real as we are. And of course nobody gets along with the orcs.
Set in an alternative present where human beings, orcs, goblins and fairies have coexisted since the beginning of time, this action thriller by David Ayer follows the life of two policemen with very different profiles. Ward, a human being played by Will Smith, and Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), an orc, start a night watch that will change the future. While facing both their personal differences and their enemies, they must also work together to protect a young elf and a lost relic that, falling into the wrong hands, could destroy everything.
Starring Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry, Edgar Ramirez, Ike Barinholtz, Enrique Murciano, Jay Hernandez, Andrea Navedo, Veronica Ngo, Alex Meraz, Margaret Cho, Brad William Henke, Dawn Olivieri and Kenneth Choi, it’s all about of one of the most expensive productions of the streaming platform to date, and in addition to the film, will also distribute the soundtrack ‘Bright: The Album’, with songs by M’gos and Mashmellow or Macinegun Kelly, among others.
