In a time when shopping is encouraged as Christmas is, having the products most demanded by users is essential for large chains of commerce, whether through traditional or electronic commerce. If you remember, a few days ago we discussed how Google removed the compatibility with YouTube on Amazon’s Echo Show and Fire TV.
A decision motivated by the fact that the e-commerce giant did not offer the Google Chromecast among its products, just as it does not do with the Apple TV. Since 2015 they were not sold on the Amazon website (managed and sold by them) any of these products and in general, nothing in the Google catalog. With Apple it seems that the waters have returned to normal and an example is that the Amazon Prime Video application is now available for Apple TV. So now it remains to see what happens with Google.
And is that Amazon may know of the popularity of both Apple TV and Google Chromecast among users, two devices that also offer a price not too high that make them a good choice to give at Christmas and serve as a bridge (important also), to access Amazon Prime Video and perhaps this is one of the reasons for Amazon to once again offer Apple TV and Chromecast devices on its website.
Perhaps the return to normal, the availability of these devices on the Amazon page may be the beginning of a period of peace between Amazon and the two giants of electronics with Apple it seems that things are going back on track and with Google this movement this movement can make YouTube return to Amazon devices. While we wait for an official statement from Amazon to confirm this news.
