Year after year the high-end devices have been increasing in price until overcoming the barrier of $ 1,000 dollars in its most basic version, which in Mexican pesos means that they are sold above 20 thousand pesos, some examples are the iPhone X or the Galaxy Note 8, which despite being excellent equipment, the price has already become an important factor in deciding to buy this type of device.
However, in the high range we can still find some Chinese brands that although they have also increased their price in recent years, continue to be an interesting alternative in terms of quality / price, and the main exponents are: Oppo, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and if we are very exquisite we could even include Huawei.
But of all these brands, this year the one that presented the best Android device taking into account its quality / price has been OnePlus with its OnePlus 5T, its first smartphone with a screen without borders, which also includes dual camera, facial unlocking, fingerprint reader rear and up to 8GB of RAM.
The complete specifications of the OnePlus 5T are the following:

|Others||USB Type C input, 3.5 mm jack, Bluetooh 5.0, fingerprint reader on the back and face lock.|
|Price||64GB: $ 499 USD / $ 9,600 MXN
128GB: $ 559 USD / $ 10,700 MXN
Eye, because I said that this is for me the best high-end quality smartphone / price, and is that in stores like Gearbest we can get it for $ 9,700 MXN (without shipping), so if we consider that it has the specifications of others high end as the Galaxy Note 8, Huawei Mate 10 or Google Pixel 2, but it costs practically half the price of any of them, then it is an excellent option to consider for brand new phone this year.
One of the great advantages of the OnePlus 5T is that we have a phone that supports an almost pure Android version, and only includes some interesting and functional add-ons that improve the user experience, in fact OnePlus is one of the fastest-updating companies Your equipment, although we must mention that it helps you to have few models in the market compared to brands like Samsung or Huawei.
Hardware is an important issue, but software is to my taste one of the most important elements in a smartphone, and the experience of Android Pure is really outstanding, so after a Google Pixel or an Android One I think OnePlus is the brand that offers the best software experience, on Android.
Regarding its hardware specifications, I must mention that we do not have the best dual camera, or the best frontal photographic sensor, but both offer results worthy of the high range, and above all very good for a $ 500 phone. The battery yields enough to withstand a full day of work even for the most demanding users, plus its fast charging system is one of the best I’ve seen this year.
Something I must emphasize is the new facial unlocking, which is really fast and functional, we have already made it clear that it is not as sure as the Face ID of the iPhone X, but it is just as fast in many situations, although in environments really dark or in any other situation we will have the rear fingerprint reader that is also quite fast.
The experience of using the OnePlus is undoubtedly one of the best in a high-end smartphone, maybe we will not have the best camera, screen, battery or software additions as in the Galaxy Note 8, the Huawei Mate 10 or the Goole Pixel 2, but the price at which it is sold seems to me without a doubt the best investment in a smartphone this year in terms of quality / price.
This is the recommendation that I make to them, but beware that buying it brings two situations as a consequence; the first is that we do not have manufacturer’s guarantee (because it is not sold officially in Mexico or Latin America), and the second is that there is no official service center where we can repair it for any inconvenience, so buying it carries some risks that we can stop side considering the price.
