For some time Nissan joins with Lucasfilm to create vehicles inspired by the saga of Star Wars and for the Los Angeles Auto Show 2017 there were six vehicles exhibited in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”.
“We came back this year with an alliance with Lucasfilm and the Industrial Light & Magic artists to create these incredible concept vehicles from some of our best-selling models,” said Jeremy Tucker, vice president of Marketing and Media Communication at Nissan North America.
The concepts, which are not for sale, receive a unique touch, which includes additional elements such as water immersion graphics, surround sound and exterior design to simulate its use in a battle.
Nissan Altima – Special Forces TIE Fighter
The Special Forces soldier TIE is an attack fighter used by the elite pilots of the Special Forces of the First Order. This is recreated using the best selling Nissan sedan in North America: Altima. The exhibition vehicle presents customized improvements, aligning it with a member of the First Order fleet. The outstanding characteristic of the vehicle is the window of the cabin that has the “multiscreen” aspect of the TIE Special Forces fighter on the Nissan Altima windshield. Customized wheels and the full body of the vehicle give life to the two-wing spaceship. The speakers in each corner recreate the iconic TIE Fighter and the sounds of the blaster, creating a true sense of movement.
Nissan Maxima – Kylo Ren
Based on the existing aggressive design language of Nissan Maxima, this vehicle transforms into a truly sinister sedan. The designers fused the unmistakable black and silver mask of Kylo Ren with Nissan Maxima’s V-motion design language using a single block of aluminum for the front of the four-door sports vehicle. A front lower spoiler, a striking bell and body are coated with characteristic colors. The project is completed with a set of red lights and lights under the body that pulsate at random, similar to Kylo Ren’s battle lightsaber.
Nissan Maxima – TIE Silencer by Kylo Ren
Designed for speed and sneaky handling ability, Nissan Maxima is the perfect vehicle to play the TIE Silencer of Kylo Ren – one of the new ships that will appear in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”. This single use TIE Silencer is customized according to Kylo’s specifications: with laser cannons and missile launchers attached to the different wings of the vehicle, extending throughout the entire vehicle. The crimson lighting on the grille and on the underside gives this concept vehicle an incredible sense of realism. The sound effects extracted directly from the film take Nissan Maxima to the next level.
Nissan Maxima – Captain Phasma
He also joins the ranks of the First Order, Captain Phasma Maxima, which is covered with a silver armor and has an unmistakable mask of the strong female character of the film. Your fascia is made by hand from aluminum. An accentuated red line runs the entire length of the car, with effects on the base to reinforce its intimidating appearance. Captain Phasma Maxima is also a celebration of female strength.
Nissan Rogue- Poe Dameron X-wing with BB-8
Nissan Rogue Poe Dameron X-wing with BB-8 leads the New Republic star fleet, with huge fixed wings that extend to both sides of its base. Ready for action, the T-70 X-wing starfighter features a pair of illuminating propellers, while the quadruple laser cannons built into each wing tip prepare the battle. Above the crossover is an astromech droid best known as full-sized BB-8 with lights, movement and sound in operation. The package of tires and tires provides a parallel with the invulnerable value of the Resistance.
Nissan Rogue Sport – A Wing
Fast and agile, Nissan Rogue Sport A Wing features twin thrusters in the rear of the vehicle, while wings mounted on the top mimic the A Wing design. Their wheels are painted blue to match the accents of their design with new tires equipped to provide a wide stance. Laser cannons flank the vehicle and its detailed exterior design proves that it is a vehicle ready for any situation.
