Following the massive withdrawal of lots of artificial milk manufactured at the Lactalis plant in France for risk of salmonellosis, Lactalis Nutrition Iberia has just released a statement announcing that as a precautionary measure withdraws from the Spanish market several batches of formulas milk powder of the Puleva Baby, Damira and Sanutri brand
They clarify that there has been no communication about any case associated with these lots and all the analyzes carried out so far on the products marketed in our country have always been negative. Even so, “the company takes this decision as a precautionary measure to be manufactured on the same production line as the batches of the affected French brands,” they say.
According to the company, the measure has been adopted in coordination with the French Health Authorities and with the Spanish Agency of Consumption, Food Safety and Nutrition (AECOSAN), with whom the company maintains a continuous collaboration.
If you have any of these lots of infant formulas at home, you should not consume them. If the batch number and the preferred consumption date coincide, what you have to do is proceed to return the product.

- Puleva Baby 1: lot 17C0013135 – preferred use date: 07/24/2019
- Puleva Baby 2: lot 17C0013213 – date of preferential consumption: 08/01/2019
- Puleva Baby 2: lot 17C0013669 – preferred use date: 10/18/2019
- Puleva Baby 3: lot 17C0013196 – preferred use date: 07/31/2019
The brand clarifies that the consumption of unaffected lots and other Puleva products is totally safe, including all liquid milk products of Puleva Peques and Puleva Max brands, which are packaged in Spain.
