Again, a certifying entity leaking data that should not be known before the presentation of a product, although at this point it is difficult to distinguish what are controlled filtrations and what are careless by accident. But in one way or another, both FCC and TENAA constantly release features and here is the new installment of this novel, starring Nokia 9.
A phone whose name has been known for months, thanks to the filtration, again, of the roadmap of launches of the non-Finnish manufacturer, although in this case we are not talking about Nokia but about the HMD that has control of the devices. The Nokia 9 has a hard time coming before the end of the year so we all expect it for next month, and here are its almost complete features.
This would be the Nokia 9 according to the FCC
The new data coming from the FCC confirm that this future Nokia 9 will have a Snapdragon 835 as brain, the processor that has ruled the Qualcomm catalog throughout this 2017 and will soon have replacement with a Snapdragon 845 candy. However, Nokia has preferred not to waitand opt for the chip that also shares with the Nokia 8.
As for the screen, 5.5 inches OLED with a resolution for now unknownbut we know that LG has manufactured. We would therefore be facing a P-OLED like the one mounted by the Pixel 2 XL or the recent LG V30, two phones with very different reviews regarding the quality of its rectangular glass and that would cast doubt on the outcome of the Nokia 9. There will be to wait for the analysis.
Two rear cameras, that’s what the FCC says. A pair of 12 and 13 megapixels apparently with the same use that was already given in the Nokia 8 and that Huawei installed more than a year ago. A specialized sensor for black and white and another dedicated to color photographs, and with a quality to check as happens with the screen. By the way, 5 megapixels for the front that we do not want to miss.
And there is even more, because thanks to the filtered information we can know your 3,250 mAh battery with, supposedly, fast charge Quick Charge 4.0 thanks to its processor although you will have to see what HMD implementation has done for this power system. We do know that it will carry an 18W charger, which is not a bad sign.
Last, but not least, the information speaks of an internal memory of 128GB manufactured by Samsung , a UFS 2.1 that we do not know if it will be the only model marketed. We could have a 64GB version and a higher version of 128GB, or a single version with higher storage that would raise the bet with respect to the Nokia 8.
Anyway, it seems there is little left to know the Nokia 9 in all its fullness. We are looking forward to Nokia unveiling its next catalog leader now, as we already knew a few days ago, already has a Nokia 8 2018 on the way. The guys from northern Europe do not stop and that’s a good sign, hopefully they can keep up and get the sales they need to be great again. Time will tell.
