Undoubtedly one of the most desired vehicles in the world, Volkswagen Golf was introduced in March 1974 and since then has marked a trend in its segment; not for something is the most sold vehicle in Europe and the third with more units sold in history with 33 million.

Thanks to Donut Media’s video we can remember every change and characteristics that the best Volkswagen has done in the last 43 years.

Recall that the first Golf GTI had 108 horsepower and achieved 0 to 100 km / h in just 8.9 seconds. By 1983 the MK2 would be launched with fewer horses but it would improve its design, three years later it would launch one of the most beloved Golf GTI 16V with 137 horsepower.

The Golf GTI MK3 would be launched in 1992 with 110 horsepower and the MK4 would do it four years later with its VR6 engine with 152 horses, since then it has followed a line of similar design that was improved until a few years ago.
