Presented a week ago as the Huawei Enjoy 7S, the Chinese brand renamed its new model as the Huawei P Smart, a middle range that changes its name to be sold outside China according to Evan Blass, one of the experts in filtering information with more index of hits of the Network.
Until the final stretch of this 2017, the Full View design or screen without frames that have mounted the top of range as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, iPhone X and the like, was an element of the high-end. But in the last weeks of the year we have seen how Samsung itself has decided to put the Infinity Display in its mid-range starting with the Galaxy A8 and A8 +, and Chinese brands such as Oppo, Xiaomi or Huawei already have the Bezel-less design without frames in its mid-range models. As the Huawei Enjoy 7S, presented two weeks ago for the Chinese market that mounts a Full View display and Dual camera in a terminal that is worth less than 200 euros.
Name change on Enjoy 7S
Of the existence of this Enjoy 7S we learned about TENNA and Evan Blass from @Evleaks, one of the ‘insiders’ of the sector that hits the most in their leaks. In fact it has been for him that we have learned a new datum from this terminal: The Huawei Enjoy 7S is going to be sold outside China under another name, Huawei P Smart and also complements the information with a Huawei promotional art that shows the terminal with its new name. Does this mean that we will see it in stores in the West, and more in detail, in Europe? It is not known yet, since Huawei has not spoken about it, has not even officially announced the Smart P yet, although it is true that the Huawei Enjoy 6S arrived in Spain.
And what does this mid-range terminal offer? We started with a 5.65-inch FullView screen at a FullHD resolution of 2160 x 1080, with fingerprint reader located behind. The rear panel is divided into three parts, with an upper and lower plastic area and a centralized metal part for the biometric sensor. In the upper part – in the plastic area – we have a double camera, another standard that Chinese brands already assemble.
