Austrian resorts such as Ischgl, St Anton, Solden, and Gerlos are popular for their festive après-ski and fiery nights. But in France we also know how to party, and many of our resorts are famous for their sleepless nights. Some even set up special evenings with concerts, set DJS throughout the winter. Tignes put the pack this winter, with 12 concerts spread throughout the season . It is therefore 12 incredible evenings that await you after the ski, in an atmosphere of madness until the end of the night! There is something for everyone: Louis Bertignac, C2C, Kavinsky, Keziah Jones, Ed Banger – Busy P, Julien Doré, JL Aubert & Cali, Skip the Use and Shaka Ponk will take their place on the Tignes stage. And of course, all this is 100% free, and open to everyone! Outside these special evenings, the atmosphere is always festive in Tignes with many bars and nightclubs just as much at the lake as Val Claret.

The young and festive reputation of Les 2 Alpes precedes it, and for good reason, the resort is one of the most popular for party-goers . Many bars with different atmospheres punctuate the streets. We start on the slopes at the end of the afternoon at the Pano Bar, then the party continues in the resort, Kré, Rhumerie, Brazilian, Maya etc … before finishing at the Avalanche, the box unavoidable night of the resort. In summer too, the clientele attracted by summer skiing and mountain biking loves to party, so the atmosphere is electric all year long!

As in Val d’Isère or Méribel, the party starts early in Val Thorensif you stop at the turn of a track at the Folie Douce. It’s a foretaste of what is waiting for the partygoers later in the night in the heart of the resort. Many bars move tourists and seasonal, French and foreign, in a real melting pot very friendly. The locals will then show you the way: a good evening in “Val Tho” always ends in Malaysia, the club of the station, which frequently hosts good DJs. Méribel has strengthened its festive image in recent years with the implementation of the famous concept of Folie Douce, added to an already dynamic nightlife. The Rond Point, the very trendy Rescue Station, or the club Loft, are also ideal addresses for fun in Meribel. Two atmospheres and two clienteles mingle: a more chic atmosphere on one side, for the gilded youth and trendy quadras, and on the other side more eventful and alcoholic evenings which are fond of young English and Scandinavian.

By developing its Freestyle image with its many snowparks, Vars has managed to attract a young clientele, who likes to have fun and party! It is therefore a station that moves day and night, even if the number of establishments is less impressive than elsewhere. The highlight of the season is undoubtedly the Urban Jib Arena, in late winter, April 12, an event that mixes slides and music with a jib contest in the heart of the resort followed by concerts free. The evening not to be missed!

It is Val d’Isère that started the madness “Folie Douce”, since in Val, the evening begins on the slopes for many years. It continues in the city, boosted by English and Scandinavian tourists who put the atmosphere in the pubs (Pub Moris, Victor’s, Little Danes, the Saloon) where DJs and live concerts (the Mullits) make the show. The Underground, the Lodge, the Café Face or the MBC are also essential for the avalinous nights, before finishing at the Doudoune, the discotheque that overlooks the Front de Neige.

Note: during the Hot Ice Experience, from April 12 to May 4, many concerts and DJ sets are held, on the slopes and in the streets of the resort, it’s the perfect time to enjoy skiing, sun and Of the party !

Here, the party is chic, the sumptuous nights, made of rhinestones and glitter, in the lounge bars of the station, or better, in the trendy bars of luxury hotels. Courchevel is a temple of the night , provided we have the adapted budget! One of the highlights of the Courch ‘Attitude is, of course, “Les Caves” where you will probably meet stars and rich foreign tourists. Every evening that respects itself in Courchevel ends at the Caves!

In Avoriaz, the clientele is young and likes to party. The Yak club is always full of winter, because it is the only disco of Avoriaz. Some pubs and bars are favored by locals, such as the Shooters, right next to the Yak, which closes at 2am.

The festival Rock the Pistes (from 26 to 30 March), with concerts at high altitude and during the day energizes the end of the season and attracts a fan clientele of music and ultra festive, so it’s a good time for the most revelers of skiers !

Cham ‘vibrates with a very cosmopolitan atmosphere: skiers from all walks of life rub shoulders in the Mecca of skiing and share good times in the different establishments of the city after dark. The train station area has some of the most popular restaurants and bars in the evening (the Möo Bar, Room 9, Elevation 1904 etc.). On the club side, the White Hub and Amnesia are preferred by the locals, so follow the guide!

One of the nightlife events in Chamonix is ​​the Black Week End (March 6-9) with 3 days of skiing and live music, and the presence of big names in the electro scene: Agoria 360, Hypnolove, Michael Mayer, Tale of Us, Kosme, DadaDisco, Luluxpo, Jabberwocky etc…

Font Romeu is undoubtedly one of the most festive resorts in the French Pyrenees. After skiing and evenings are concentrated in a few trendy establishments. The pub St Paul is a favorite party party, since it closes at 2am and offers a rum and a bar to chupitos (= shooters). Also make a detour to the Café Maillol, where DJs often mix late into the night, before ending the night at the Casino disco.
