Today in the morning, Nintendo began the day in the best way by presenting an interesting figure, stating that they have just reached the 10 million units of Nintendo Switch sold worldwide in just 9 months, a remarkable achievement if we consider that the console still has 3 months to complete its first year in the market.

Apparently the Nintendo formula for betting on a different console that is more focused on the experience than the power has returned to work, because in addition to taking advantage of its “hybrid” as a great attraction, the Nintendo Switch has helped tell a small but quite attractive catalog of games like Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which was placed as Best Game of 2017 last week.
Also, we must recognize that the recovery of relationships with third-party developers such as Capcom, EA, Square Enix, Bethesda, Bandai Namco and Ubisoft, among others, has been equally beneficial in the growth of its catalog, although it still remains behind of others, it has not stopped growing.
On the other hand Reggie Fils-Aimé, president and chief of operations of Nintendo America stated the following:
“As you can see in people’s rooms, on planes or in the subway, fans around the world can enjoy playing their Nintendo Switch wherever they go. The response from the fans has been excellent, and we are doing everything possible to meet the demand during the holiday shopping season.”
