The audio notes of WhatsApp have as many fans as detractors but from a point of view of use, it is a very useful tool if for example we walk down the street and can not write. If we talk about usability there are a couple of problems: we can not listen to them before sending them and, if we receive a call, the recording will be cut and we have to start over.
With the update of the beta for iOS, will soon come to Android, have introduced in WhatsApp the possibility of listening to an audio note before sending it. Either to review what we have said or verify that it has been recorded correctly, we will also have the options to eliminate it or directly send it to the person in question by clicking on the arrow icon on the right side.
This little novelty is a great advance for WhatsApp as there are many reasons for an audio recording to be canceled and lost forever: from the moment the app hangs up when we open a file, we get a call or we run out of battery . From now on, and when this function reaches all users, it will be saved as far as it has been recorded.
From that moment, or simply when we finish recording, we will have the option to listen to it before sending it or to erase it, something that until now was only possible while we were in the middle of the recording and had to slide the finger to the left. Now all that’s missing is that they also include at once the possibility of recording without leaving the finger pressed.
At the moment we do not know when this function will come to Android but the pace at which WhatsApp tests and adds services can be very soon. We will update you with the main developments that are coming to this application and as soon as it is available on Android, we will notify you.
