According to the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, the appearance of granites in the form of a rash on the labia majora may be due to an allergic reaction to the change of sanitary napkins or some underwear material.
It is the result of an infection of the hair follicle due to the presence of bacteria. Its appearance is frequent after shaving or pubic hair removal, this is because the hair weakens which prevents it from breaking the skin of the follicle so it bends and begins to grow into the skin.
