Sharp Aquos R2
Sharp Aquos R2

It is curious that Sharp was one of the first companies in the market to launch a mobile phone with hardly any bevels. He did it in Japan and although he did not arrive in Europe it became quite viral. Over the years we have been seeing devices of compact size, as the company specializes in this niche market. Today the Sharp Aquos R2 has been presented, which would not be news if it were not because of its design. Beyond trying to reduce the edges to the maximum it has included 2 notch on your screen. Do you remember the Google Pixel 3 XL memes? This device is the meme made mobile.

We do not know what was going through the head of the company to consider launching a mobile with two notches. We know that the Japanese market is something different, but we do not know if it is enough to buy this new Sharpen masse. The best thing is that it is not a cheap mobile, because it has high-end features.

The Sharp Aquos R2 arrives with two notches and power to spare

Yes, Sharp wanted to create the most powerful and ugly smartphone possible. Beyond having two notches on a 5.2-inch screen, the company has chosen to make them in different shapes and sizes. While most manufacturers opt for symmetry, Sharp laughs at the trend and leaves us with a totally asymmetric mobile. The top-notch is similar to the Essential Phone and the bottom notch is more like the OnePlus 6. Result? A total nonsense!

Announces Samsung mobile phone launch for January

It is a fairly complete mobile and has interesting features. It is one of the few devices that have a reduction of levels and such a small screen. This gets to love the users who love small mobile phones. Of course, we do not know if they will run out when they see the double notch on that screen.

Its battery is somewhat small, although we do not have too many devices of this screen size in the market to buy. The top-notch houses the camera and the handset for calls. The lower one has a fingerprint sensor that occupies more space than normal, hence they have chosen to include that notch.

At the moment it is a mobile destined for the Japanese market, for what very very hard we will see it in Europe or other markets like the American one. Of course, surely exposed at MWC 2019and we can take a look.
